What is Soul Magic?
Some souls are reborn into the world. Each of these old souls has the ability to manipulate an element with the purpose of bringing balance to the world. The world of the affinates is ruled by the counsel of Elders, who advise/control all the governments, military, and major businesses of the world. The elements are earth, fire, water and air. This is Soul Magic.
Soul Magic Glossary
Abecedarian
A first year student at the Academy. Also referred to as ABC's.
Affinate
A person attuned to an affinity.
Affinity
The element(s) an old soul is attuned to.
Ascended
An ascended soul is an old soul that has decided to not be reborn.
Awakened
A person who has access to all of their past soul lives and knows their soul name.
Awakening
The start of a person remembering their past lives/soul memories.
Bi-affinate
A soul that has the ability to manipulate two elements.
Elders
Seven of the top affinates who oversee the balance of the elements in the world.
Prima Vivere
A soul from the first generation of incarnates. All Prima Vivere's have Ascended in current era, the last living being Ava who Ascended in the mid-twentieth century.
Soul Friend
A soul that one has known in a past life. These souls tend to seek each other out (involuntarily) in their current lives.
Soul Memory
A memory from a previous life.
Tri-affinate
A soul with the ability to manipulate three elements.
